The big fireball of September 21st 2017. This got a lot of media attention due to the clear night and early time of appearance. So many people saw this fireball.

A clear night in Twisk……

Early 2017, during a trip to Northern Norway, I took the allsky camera out on one of the evenings to spot Aurora Borealis. At peak activity that night, it shows a dramatic view of the Northern Lights at the sky above us.

This is a timelapse of 5 seconds of exposure for each frame. The video is slowed down at 50%. At 25 frames per second and a duration of 33 seconds, this spans about 35 minutes.
The camera was positioned on top of a small hill but you can still see the lights of cars passing by on the road below.
